Terms & Conditions
The following Terms & Conditions covers services by Vicky Crowley and Happy Hounds Hotel. By booking a stay you are agreeing that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
Veterinary Release
I agree that in the case of suspected injury or illness to my dog/s a Veterinary Surgeon (Vet) may be contacted, my dogs may be examined, and investigations performed if required (e.g. blood tests, x-rays etc) and an appropriate course of action will be taken on the advice of the Vet.
I understand that where possible any treatments will be undertaken by the dog’s ordinary vet, but maybe at Happy Hounds Hotels nominated vet (namely Silvergreens, Wisbech) where that is not possible.
I agree to Happy Hound administering any prescribed treatment the Vets considers advisable. I understand that the veterinary consultation, tests and treatment will be at my own expense.
I also give consent for euthanasia should this be recommended on humane grounds by the Vet caring for my dog/s.
I understand that every effort will be made to get in touch with me or my local proxy to discuss an appropriate course of action for my dog/s and Happy Hounds Hotel will endeavour to keep me (or proxy) updated throughout the process.
I agree that if my dog/s has fleas or worms then Happy Hounds Hotel will take the dog/s to the vet to arrange an appropriate treatment and charge the vet’s bill to me.
Parasite Policy
To maintain a clean and safe environment, we ask that all dogs arrive free of fleas, ticks and worms. Please ensure your dog is treated one week before their stay with us.
If fleas or ticks are found during their stay, we’ll inform you immediately. Additional charges may apply for flea baths, treatment, or disinfection. In cases of severe infestation, we reserve the right to refuse service for the health and safety of all pets in our care.
Vaccination Policy
To stay with Happy Hounds Hotel your dog must be fully vaccinated. Please send a copy of your dogs vaccination record to happyhoundswsm@gmail.com or text a photo to Vicky on 07847 279 823. Please also bring it with your dog at drop off so we can see the physical copy.
Cancellation Policy
We require at least 7 days notice for booking cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged 100% of the boarding fee to cover lost time.

For safety reasons, please complete our intake form honestly regarding your dog’s temperament so we can assess suitability in advance.
Meet & Greet / Trial Night requirements:
All bookings are subject to a successful meet and greet at our home; and for stays of 3 nights or more, a successful trial overnight stay.
Please note:
Boarding dates are not confirmed until the meet and greet (or trial night where applicable) has taken place.
I reserve the right to decline a booking if we feel the home environment is not suitable for your dog.
Deposit & Payment Terms
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
The deposit is payable only after a successful meet and greet (and trial night where required).
The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to the start date of boarding.
Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and loss of the deposit.
Drop-off and collection times will be agreed in advance, I always aim to be flexible, but timings may depend on other bookings.
Social Media Consent
I hereby grant Happy Hounds permission to photograph and/or record video of my dog for use on Happy Hounds’ official Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, company website, and other marketing materials. I understand that these images and videos will be the property of Happy Hounds and may be used for promotional purposes.
I release and discharge Happy Hounds from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising from the use of these images or recordings.
While the images remain the property of Happy Hounds, I understand that should I wish for any image to be removed, it will be taken down within 48 hours of a written request, without the need to provide a reason.
I also authorise Happy Hounds to include my dog’s first name, breed, and age received in any related social media or marketing content.
GDPR Policy
At Happy Hounds, we are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
We collect and store only the necessary personal information—such as your name, contact details, and pet information—for the purpose of managing appointments, providing pet care services, and communicating with you effectively.
Your data is stored securely and will never be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law.
You have the right to access, amend, or request the deletion of your personal data at any time. To do so, please contact us at happyhoundswsm@gmail.com
By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined above.
On signing these Terms & Conditions; I confirm that all information I have provided when booking is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I have read, understood, and agree to the policies and procedures outlined by Happy Hounds. I understand it is my responsibility to inform Happy Hounds of any changes to my or my pet’s details, health, or behaviour that may affect their stay.
